That scope needs its own design. Account-specific wholesale prices, a B2B portal and the role of a field representative should not automatically be transferred to consumers. Start with the existing store journey and information available for the direct channel.

Separate three customer situations

After a purchasing gapReopen the relationship if relevantContextual contact with a way to respond

RAKOR’s public page describes these uses. Exact triggers, channels, content and connections are defined for the brand. The table is not a promise of a standard sequence delivered identically for every store.

Support the first purchase before asking for another

Consider a fictional cosmetics brand selling a care product directly. After delivery, the customer may need the brand’s usage information, clarification about the item or help with a delivery problem.

A useful message starts with the purchased product and connects to suitable content. The brand must approve that information and keep it within the product’s scope. Personalized post-purchase guidance does not imply medical advice or an inference about a consumer’s health.

When a problem arises, customer support needs a way to take over with the message and order context. Define how that connection works. A repeat-purchase prompt should not obscure an unresolved issue.

Suggest a return without claiming to know consumption

Purchase history can inform a proposal to revisit a product. It does not establish how much the customer has left or how quickly it has been used.

In the fictional example, the brand invites the customer to review a familiar item with current commercial information. The customer decides whether it is needed, whether another selection is preferable or whether a question should be answered first. Limited history supports less certainty than a sustained pattern of purchases.

RAKOR announces personalized repeat purchasing for ecommerce. The project must specify how the proposal connects to the existing store and basket. That announcement does not establish a second consumer portal or replacement of the ecommerce platform.

Reopen an inactive relationship in context

A quiet customer may no longer need the product, have experienced a problem or have purchased through a different channel. Define the observed behavior and relevant window before labeling the relationship lost.

Outreach can acknowledge previous purchases and offer help or a suitable selection. Preferences and objections must remain consistent across relevant channels. Review requirements for the recipient and message type; an existing order is not universal permission for every marketing use.

The DTC scope includes reactivation. Specify the events that should change or stop the journey, including a reply, support issue or new order. Do not assume their automatic handling before the operating configuration is validated.

Agree channel data and responsibilities

The brand supplies the catalog, approved content, offers and relationship rules. The project examines customer identities, orders, products and events available in the store. Customer service owns requests needing its intervention.

Connection scope, update frequency and the experience opened by a link must be agreed for the DTC channel. Selling wholesale as well does not make a retailer and a consumer the same customer identity or justify mixing their terms and data.

Measure the relationship over time

Track repeat purchases over comparable observation windows, contribution after offers and costs, support needs and returns. A sale following a message does not alone prove the message created it. A suitably designed comparison can help estimate incremental impact.

RAKOR positions DTC as an extension of its commercial intelligence. A useful demonstration should therefore show a specific consumer journey separately from wholesale: an initial purchase, relevant contact, a route back to shopping and human support for a question. Evaluate fit on that defined scope.
